"Gothia World Youth Cup and Gothia Special Olympics Trophy 2022" was held in Sweden

On July 16-20, 2022, the "Gothia World Youth Cup and Gothia Special Olympics Trophy 2022" was held in Sweden. This international football tournament has been traditionally held in Gothenburg, Sweden since 1975. A total of 1,603 teams from 59 countries participated in this year's tournament. Two teams of the Special Olympics of Uzbekistan, a girls' team and a boys' team, took part in this tournament.

Alla, a girl who grew up at the SOS Children’s Village Tashkent, played for the girls' team, the team won a bronze medal!

The boys' team, which defended the honor of our country, won the gold medal.
