SOS Children's Villages, Khorezm branch hosted a five-day training on increasing parenting skills for residents of pilot makhallas in Urgench from October 7 to 11 in the frame of “Enhancement of Vulnerable Children Protection Mechanisms in Uzbekistan”, project funded by the European Union. During the course of the training beneficiaries-parents have increased their knowledge and skills about the needs of children, affection for them through role play. The topics of the training included education, emotional and behavioral development, the role of family values, social relations in the development of children, as well as children's rights.
