5-days trainings on Parenting Skills have been held in the frame of the project “Enhancement of vulnerable children protection mechanisms in Uzbekistan”, funded by the European Union held from 21.10 to 1.11 in Samarkand. The focus of the trainings was to improve parenting skills of the parents-beneficiaries in the pilot makhallas «Ilmobod», Samarkand, and "Qui turkman" of Samarkand region. The main objective of the trainings was to increase parents’ skills in raising children and strengthen the family. Parents through role-playing games have increased their knowledge and skills about the needs of children, affection for them. The topics of the training have included: education, emotional and behavioral development, the role of family values, social relations in the development of children, and children's rights.
