This Success Story is about family with its own "heroes". Malika, project beneficiary, has experienced difficulties and approached makhalla with the only problem - to help her with employment. However, having conducted an in-depth assessment of the case, other social problems and difficulties in the development of children along with housing and financial problems have been identified. This family was redirected to SOS Children's Villages, Urgench, where our experts, in cooperation with the specialist of the WCU (Women’s Committee of Uzbekistan) and other organizations, have carried out work with the family in the frame of "Enhancement of vulnerable children protection mechanisms in Uzbekistan" project implementation, funded by the European Union.
